8 decor ideas for a beautiful Easter table
Incorporate the following eight steps and you’ll have a beautiful Easter table to entertain your guests!
Decide on a color palette
Step one to a beautiful Easter table is to decide on your color palette!
Look around your house and see what inspires you!
I decided to use my painted Easter eggs as my inspiration!
So I’ll be using muted blue, green, tan, and cream on my table this season.
If you’d like to know how to make these Easter eggs check out these posts:
Choose your foundation
The next step is to choose the foundation for your table.
What type of table linens will you choose? Perhaps a traditional tablecloth, table runner, placemats, or a combination of those items.
I decided to use a table runner and placemats.
You’ll never guess where I got my table runner!
It’s one of my old dining room curtains!!
Pick your plates
Now it’s time to pick your plates!
What’s your preference, everyday dishes, china, or why not use paper plates?
I’ll be using our everyday dishes. They’re a bit scratched and chipped, but I still love them!
Grab your glasses
Decide what type of glasses you need. Will it be the ones you use every day, crystal, or plastic?
I’m using our every day glasses and a very simple wine glass.
Set out the utensils
Next, you’ll need to set out your eating utensils.
Some people pull out the real silver on special holidays. Others use their everyday silverware and if you’re not up to washing dishes you can use disposable plastic!
I’m using our champagne-colored utensils.
Get creative with Napkins and holders
You have another decision to make, will you use cloth or paper napkins?
After you decide on the napkins, determine how you will display them.
A fun and easy way to add interest to your table is with napkin holders!
I made the adorable bunny napkin holders from a bunny garland and old napkin rings.
They are so cute and the best part is they were free!!
Make an amazing centerpiece
Now the fun begins!
Choose Spring elements to make your centerpiece.
Seasonal flowers or branches, whether real or faux, are always a good choice.
Bring the outdoors in by surrounding your floral arrangement with bunnies, eggs, or nests!
Create place holders
Surprise your guests with a personalized placeholder at their seats.
You can easily make place cards, but I decided to use stamped initial eggs instead.
They are so cute and would make a great little gift for each family member!

You are so clever Donna. When I first looked at your table, I thought oh yeah! I could use a tablecloth and gather it in the center of our table. I can never find table linens large enough for our table, and then I read a curtain? A curtain? Why yes, I did read that correctly! How perfect, and I have curtains all over the place not being used here! Thanks for sharing that tid bit. <3
