I am with you Donna, I used decorating as a stress reliever when I was working. My job was stressful, and I would come home and move things around, always made me feel better at the end of the day. Now, I have to say I really enjoy crafting, and seeing what I can come up with. You are right, it does keep your brain active. I feel some days I really need that.
