Why not show off your sense of style, and save your dollars by making a centerpiece, napkin rings, and a special treat for your guests?
It’s easy, let me show you how!
1) Arrange an Amazing Centerpiece
Impress your guests by arranging a beautiful centerpiece!
I have no idea who originally came up with this arrangement idea, but whoever it was is a genius!
If you are on Instagram, you’ve probably seen several people put together a beautiful centerpiece using two glass cylinder vases!
This is a fabulous technique that you can use to decorate for any season!
It is such an easy DIY, anyone can do it and get professional-looking results!
Let me show you how!
Gather
Gather or purchase the following items to complete this project:
- Large glass cylinder vase
- Small glass cylinder vase- that will fit inside the larger one.
- Flowers -real or faux
- Filler-colored plastic eggs, jelly beans, M&Ms, Peeps, citrus fruit slices, etc.
Make
Arrange your flowers in the small vase. The stems of my branches are very long, so I had to bend them up.
If you use real flowers, add water to the vase.
Put the small vase inside the larger vase.
Add your filler to the large vase.
If you decide on eggs as the filler, be sure they will fit between the two vases.
The large vase will not need to be as big if you use small candy pieces or citrus slices.

2) Make adorable Napkin Rings
All three Easter DIYs are simple to make, but this one is the easiest!
Gather
I’ve had this cute bunny garland for several years now. It’s so cute, but I wanted to use it in a different way this year.
If you’d like to see how I used it in the past, see this post of my Spring home decor last year!
Gather or purchase the following items to make these napkin rings:
- Bunny garland- I know most of you probably don’t have a bunny garland at home, so here are two suggestions on where to find bunnies. Michael’s usually carries assorted Easter picks that would work great and Dollar Tree carries adorable bunny and carrot ornaments that would also work.
- Twine napkin holders- if you don’t have napkin rings at home, cut up an empty paper towel or toilet paper roll and wrap it with jute twine. Or buy cheap shower curtain rings and wrap them with jute twine.
- Jute twine
- Scissors
Make
The bunnies were hot-glued onto a piece of jute twine, so I gently pulled them apart.
Next, I tied a piece of twine around the bunny’s neck and then tied it to the napkin ring!
It doesn’t get any easier than that!
You can hot glue the bunnies to the napkin rings if you like. I tied mine so I can remove them after Easter and use them in a different way next year!
3) Create A special treat
Here’s a fun idea that you can use to assign seats at the table and then give as a gift to your guests!
Instead of using place cards, put each person’s initial on an egg and show it off in a mini flower pot!
Gather
Gather or purchase the following items to complete this project:
- Mini terra cotta pots – I purchased mine from Dollar Tree, you get three pots in one package. I needed six.
- Paint -I mixed two colors of paint to get the shade of off-white I desired.
- Paintbrush
- Mini 3-inch grapevine wreaths -I used six
- Spanish moss
- Easter eggs with stamped initials- see DIY here
I had Annie Sloan Chalk Paint at home and mixed one part Old White with 2 parts Old Ochre.
Paint the pots and don’t forget to paint around the inside edge. I gave each pot two coats of paint.
When the paint is dry, make a nest of Spanish moss and put it inside the pot.
Set the egg on top, and then sit the pot inside a mini grapevine wreath!
Add anywhere on the table. I set mine on top of the plates.
