We appreciate you all so much!
Has September brought cooler temperatures to your home yet?
We’re still having high temperatures hit 90 degrees most days and are ready for it to cool down!
Since we last touched base, we’ve been doing a lot of work and had some fun!
What we’ve been up to this week
DIY sneak peek
Rich spent most of the holiday weekend working outdoors, in the heat, to make one of my DIY dreams come true!
Here’s a little peek at the progress so far!
I am so happy and can’t wait for it to be finished!
Can you guess what it is?
The entire weekend wasn’t spent working.
We did manage to take some time off for some fun!
Food and Wine Festival
We finally made it to the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival!
It started on July 27th, but it’s been so hot we have had no desire to go until this past weekend!
It was still a hot day, but we couldn’t wait any longer!
So we went for a few hours and sampled our top food and beverage picks.
Our “best of the fest” for the day was from the Flavors From Fire booth.
First, we sampled the chimichurri marinated skirt steak taco with crushed avocado, grilled corn salsa, pickled red onions, queso fresco, and cilantro-lime cream.
Then, we ate smoked corn beef with house-made potato chips, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer-cheese fondue.
Both dishes tasted fabulous!!
While walking around the World Showcase, we got a sweet surprise!
We crossed paths with a Disney character we rarely see in the parks!
It’s King Louie from the Jungle Book!
The festival lasts until November 18th, and we plan to return when it gets cooler.
We can’t wait to taste some more yummy cuisine from around the globe!

Inspiration from around the web
We love to share inspiring things our blogger friends have been up to! Here are the favorites we saw on the web this week!
1)You all know how much I love to decorate for each season with inexpensive DIY home decor projects! If you love to do the same, you must get the new book by our friend KariAnne called Ten Minute Decorating Ideas!

3) Have the leaves started falling at your house yet? Pick one up and use it to make a leaf-stamped tea towel!
4) I want to make a wreath to match the paper leaf garland I created a few years ago. Unfortunately, I never got around to it! This adorable wreath made from brown paper bags has inspired me!
