We don’t decorate every room in our house for Spring, but we have added some seasonal touches to the main living areas in our home!
Add Spring touches to the entryway to welcome guests
Welcome to our home!
Let’s start the tour in the foyer!
Last year, our son, Griffin, drew this bunny picture for us!
Isn’t it the cutest??
I couldn’t wait to pull it out and hang it here to greet our guests!
Topiaries make perfect Spring decor
I made two topiaries from an old grapevine wreath and put them in urns that previously held Christmas trees!
Incorporate bunnies and nests
In between the topiaries, I placed a clock with a small bird statue and a nest filled with bird eggs!
How to Refresh your living room for Spring
During Spring, I like to lighten up my home decor with lots of white items.
This year I’m adding pops of green, with plants and topiaries, and a little bit of blue here and there!
Brighten up your bookshelves
I filled my bookshelves with white vintage and thrifted finds!
Switch your throw pillows
These sweet throw pillows are perfect for Spring with their blooming white flowers!
These blue pillows add beauty and comfort to the couch!
Bring outdoor elements Inside
If you’ve been following the blog since last Spring, you know I love to pull this gorgeous picture of white flowers out to display during Spring!
Want to know where I hang it during the rest of the year, click here! You might be surprised!
I placed my upcycled picnic basket, which I made over earlier this year and a couple of white pillows underneath the table.
Ferns and candlestick holders anchor each end of the table!
I filled this long dough bowl with the adorable moss mushrooms and decoupage eggs I made.
Decorate with moss bunnies, eggs, and moss Balls
I filled a long white tray with Spanish moss and added five pillar candles, various sizes of moss balls, and more decoupaged eggs to decorate the TV console table.
On the ends of the table, I brought in candlestick lamps, moss bunnies, and topiaries.
And on the coffee table, I used two smaller moss bunnies, a metal pedestal filled with moss, and more decoupaged eggs.
Add interest to an entryway with everyday items you use
Most of my decorating ideas use items specific to Spring, so this tip is a bit different!
Did you know you can display items as decor that you use daily?
The entry to our lanai is a perfect example.
This spot looks cute, but it’s super functional!
To make my life easy, I keep my watering can and a pair of slip-on shoes by the back door. So I can water the plants on my lanai!
I always keep a jacket for the cool mornings and evenings we can have during Spring (I wish it were a raincoat, we desperately need rain!)
The straw hat keeps the sun out of my eyes, and I love the look it adds to this space.
Bring springtime into your eat-in kitchen
We recently updated our eat-in kitchen, and I think it looks so lovely all dressed up for Spring!
You can read all about our new, gorgeous rug here!
Purchase new artwork
Each season, I usually purchase a few new items for our home.
This year, I bought the pictures on either side of the mirror!
Add a spring centerpiece to the Table
I created a simple centerpiece by putting white tulips (that I’ve had for many years) in a white canister.
Use floral napkin Rings
These sweet floral napkin rings are from an Easter table I styled two years ago. They are a fun and easy DIY!
Incorporate birds in your spring Decor
Birds remind me of Spring, and l love to incorporate them in my decor this time of year!
How to Add Spring Elements to the Kitchen
Use faux or real tree branches to display Easter eggs on your kitchen counter!
Eggs aren’t just for eating use them to decorate
An Easter egg wreath hangs above the stove.
Decorate a tiered tray in your coffee area
Every morning I reach for my coffee, these sweet bunnies greet me!
It looked a little plain until I grabbed a gray ribbon, and made bows for the candles and my coffee canister.
Isn’t it amazing what a simple addition like that can make?
Prepare your dining room for spring guests
Display light-colored dishes in your china cabinet
I’m trying to keep things looking bright in my dining room, so I will use light dishes in the china cabinet.
Set a beautiful Table
