Christmas Decor Inspiration From a wreath
I love to decorate for every season, but Christmas is my favorite! Before I decorate a room, I look for inspiration to help determine the theme or colors, I will use!
For this holiday season, I let my wreaths determine the color palette for each room!

This beautiful wreath is hanging in my living room. It inspired me to decorate the entire room with gold, white, and brown items.

This gorgeous wreath, surrounded by sugared fruit, was the inspiration for my dining room and foyer. I let the colors of the fruit determine the ribbon and accessories I used!
Let’s get this tour started!! We’ll begin in the foyer. If this is the first time you’ve visited our blog, I’d like to officially welcome you to our home! Come in and take a look around!
christmas decor in the FOYER
When you enter our home, the first thing you see is this amazing staircase.

It is open to the dining room, so I carried the fruit theme over to the staircase!

I added garland, poinsettia blooms, fruit picks, and this gorgeous ribbon! It looks wonderful with the decor in the dining room!

I placed our nativity scene on this table, across from the stairs.

Such a wonderful reminder of the real reason for the season!
christmas decor in the DINING ROOM

As you can see, all of the inspiration I needed to decorate the dining room for Christmas came from the wreath! Let’s take a closer look, so you can see how each item relates to the others!
christmas Tree

This space calls for a very skinny tree so that people can comfortably sit at the table!

The tree topper consists of fruit that matches the wreath.

The ribbon incorporates all of the colors of the fruit! I used it on the wreath and the tree!

My favorite ornaments are the beaded fruit!
dining room Table

I set the dining room table for a magnificent holiday meal!

The centerpiece consists of a three-tiered candleholder, embellished with fruit, greenery, and pieces of brown and gold ribbon that match the bows on the plates.

The burgundy cloth napkins pop between the gold chargers and off-white china. They match the fruit, ornaments, and ribbon on the staircase.
China Cabinet

The fruit theme continues inside the china cabinet.

Now let’s move on to the living room, and you can see how the brown and gold touches from the dining room tie into it!
christmas decor in the LIVING ROOM

The wreath hanging above the TV provides my living room inspiration!

Here is a close-up to remind you of the colors I am using, white, brown, and gold! I know brown isn’t a color you usually see in Christmas décor, but I think I pulled it off!
christmas Tree

I used all of the elements and colors from the wreath on the Christmas tree!

The tree topper is a large white poinsettia. White picks, adorned with tiny pinecones, and gold picks surround it!

Different sizes of gold ornaments, a white pearl garland, brown pinecones, and white and gold picks nestle in the branches!

The gifts are wrapped and match the color scheme!
TV Console table

The greenery on the console table is draped with gold ribbon, a white pearl garland, gold picks, and pinecones so it blends perfectly with the wreath and tree!

These angels were my Mom’s, so they have a lot of sentimental value!
book Shelves

Brown, white, and gold items decorate my bookshelves!

I made this Christmas village to match the decor in this room! I just love how it turned out!
