I hope you’ve had a fabulous week and are enjoying Spring and the warmer days that come with it!
We’re trying to do small amounts of yard work each weekend instead of knocking it out in a few days!
I like it much better that way, and my body is saying, “Thank you!”
Here’s what else we’ve been up to!
What we’ve been up to this week
Neighborhood yard sale
Last Saturday, our neighborhood had our annual Spring yard sale!
Instead of walking around treasure hunting or selling our household items, we put a “for sale” sign on our camper while spring cleaning it!
You see, we bought our first camper twenty-two years ago at our neighborhood yard sale and thought we could get lucky enough to end our camping days the same way!
We had many people look at it, but unfortunately, no buyers!
That would have been way too easy, lol!!!
So this week, we will advertise it on social media! Smart people would have done that before the yard sale.

Shoe shopping
If you follow the blog, you know we love to visit Disney Parks, and we have some big road trips coming up where we’ll be doing lots of walking!
You also know how much we love a good bargain!
But, when it comes to walking shoes, we spare no expense because we have feet issues!
I have to use inserts in my shoes now, but they have helped tremendously!
I’m sharing this because we found the most comfortable tennis shoes ever!
The salesperson brought me two styles and said, “This particular style is wider at the bottom for more stability, which some people don’t like because they look clunky!”
I tried them both on and then replied with words I never thought would pass my lips, “Well, they’re tennis shoes, not dress shoes, and at my age, I’m more concerned with comfort than style!”
What?
Did that really come out of my mouth?
Yes, it did! And guess which style I picked…
The clunky, not too cute, wide around-the-bottom tennis shoes!
The brand is called Hoka, and the style is Bondi.
And Rich bought a pair too!
We can’t get over how comfortable they are!!
Yummy dinner
We needed to make ourselves feel better after being reminded of our advanced age.
So we headed to Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ for dinner.
It was only 4:45 PM, but we didn’t mind because that’s when old people usually eat dinner in Florida!!
After stuffing ourselves with this incredibly yummy food, we proudly walked to the car wearing our clunky new shoes!!
