We received the sad news that Rich’s Aunt passed away. She was such a sweet lady with a smile that would light up the room! Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer about three months ago, but now she is singing in Heaven without pain or disease!
However, we also got some great news this week! Our youngest son was accepted into a grad school that he is thrilled about. He’s waiting to hear back from the other schools he applied to and when a final decision is made, we’ll let you know where it’s at!
What we’ve been up to this week
The weather here has been beautiful during the week, with lots of sunshine and temperatures reaching the 80s.
But on the weekends, it’s been cloudy and cool.
Every time we have planned a day at the parks since December, it’s been cold and dreary!
Unfortunately, that trend continued when we went to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts!
We had a great day despite the weather. At least it didn’t rain!
We tasted some yummy food!
And saw lots of fabulous artwork!
Then it was back to work!
We had a little incident here, at the beginning of the new year, we haven’t told you about.
One of the boys, who I will not name, backed out of the garage before the door went up!
It’s a miracle the car was barely scratched, but we had to replace the entire garage door!
The new door was white, so Rich had to paint it. Here he is, he is touching up a few spots!
What we’ve been up to on the blog
Valentine’s Day will be here soon and that’s what we’ve been focused on!
