Do you realize what that means?
The first quarter of the year is gone!
How did that happen?
Do you feel like each year goes by faster than the one before??
What we’ve been up to this week
Exciting news
We have some exciting news to share with you all!
It’s official, our son, Harrison has decided on a graduate school!
He will be getting his Masters and Doctorate from Stoney Brook University!
That means he’ll be living in Long Island, New York for the next five years!
Do any of you live on Long Island or near there?
If so, let me know, we would love to find out more about the area!
Preparing for guests
It’s been quiet here the last week, as we stayed home to prepare for out-of-town company!
I don’t want to bore you with pictures of us cleaning the house and removing pollen from all the outdoor surfaces, so let’s move on to what we did on the blog!!
What we’ve been up to on the blog
organization
The Spring Home Organization Challenge is in full swing and we kicked it off by organizing the car we bought for Harrison!
We’ll drive the car from Florida to Montana for his college graduation! He is going to stay there during the summer to work, and then he and Rich will drive from Montana to Long Island sometime in August.
Now we’re prepared for two big trips, and can’t wait to hit the road!
If you have a big trip planned this year, you’ll want to check out this post on the best road trip essentials to organize your car!
Decorating
Easter is approaching fast, and it’s time to think about decorating your dining table!
If you need inspiration, hop over and see our Easter table decor ideas!
I did several DIY projects to pull this tablescape together, and I’ll be sharing those on Monday!
We hope you’ll consider signing up for our email list, so you won’t miss the post!
Blessings, Donna and Rich

Hi Donna – Thank you for the feature! I truly appreciate it.
So your son is going to Stoney Brook! Congratulations! I live in upstate New York near Saratoga Springs. However, my day job often requires that I travel into “the city”. Sometimes I travel to Long Island. So – if your son wants to know more about the area – I am happy to help.
