The weather has been so lovely in Florida!
We have sunshine and warm temps, but they’re predicting we could reach 90 degrees this weekend! I hope they’re wrong, I’m not ready for that!
I wish I could send some extra warmth to my friends up north!
What we’ve been up to this week
Flower and Garden Festival
There’s no better way to celebrate the start of Spring than by visiting the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!
This is our favorite festival that EPCOT hosts!
We are so fortunate to be able to stroll around the park for a few hours and take in all the beauty!
The topiaries are amazing! If you are a gardener or you enjoy beautiful flowers it is a must-see!!
However, the gorgeous flowers and gardens are not the only draw to this festival!
You can eat and drink creative cuisine at the outdoor kitchens!
Our favorite food booth on this visit was Farmer’s Feast!
We tried the Chilled Potato and Leek Soup “Vichyssoise” with bacon lardons, potatoes croutons, chive oil, and crispy leeks! And Char-grilled Bison Ribeye with creamy leek fondue, red wine butter sauce, and whipped goat cheese! Both were so delicious!
We can’t wait to go back and explore more of the gardens and try different food booths!
Spring visitors
Tons of people travel to central Florida for Spring break and we are always happy to get to visit with friends and family this time of year!
This week one of Rich’s best friends from high school and his family are vacationing at Universal Studios!
We met them at Disney Springs one day for lunch and a little shopping. It was so great catching up with them and seeing their kids all grown up!
I’m so mad at myself because I did not take one picture while we were there!
NCAA Tournament
It’s March Madness and Rich has been watching lots of basketball, even though his team did not make the tournament this year.
However, we were super excited about the first round because Montana State University did make it!
I actually watched the whole game in hopes that I would get to see our youngest son playing in the pep band!
I did not get to see him playing, but glimpsed him twice cheering his team on!
He’s in the middle of the picture wearing a baseball cap, and glasses, but no beard!
Unfortunately, MSU lost but he had a fabulous time anyway! What a fun experience!
How are your brackets holding up with all the upsets??
What we’ve been up to on the blog
The start of a new season brings a new home organization challenge!
What do you need to organize this Spring?
We’ll be tackling our outdoor areas including the garage, porches, cars, and yard!
You can follow along and organize the same spaces we do or set up different goals for yourself!
To get all the details and access to our free printables go here to the Spring Home Organization Challenge!
We spruced up the front door with this simple DIY tulip wreath!
It was so easy to make, I hope you’ll hop over and check it out!
