I hope you enjoy seeing our home lit up for this joyous season!
Foyer
What is it about twinkling lights and candlelight?
For me, they bring about feelings of calm, warmth, and coziness!
It brings me great joy to sit in the darkness with the glow of Christmas lights sparkling!
Dining room
Our dining room gets a lot of use during the holidays, so we always put up a Christmas tree in this room!
Since we have a house full of people, we’ll eat most of our meals at this table!
On Christmas Eve we’ll light the candles and enjoy a meal of homemade lasagna together.
We are looking forward to talking, laughing, and catching up on each other’s lives!
Living room
We’ll spend the majority of our time gathered in the living room,
watching Christmas movies,
working a Christmas puzzle,
or opening gifts!
Kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of our home!
It’s where we cook together,
decorate gingerbread houses,
bake and decorate cookies,
and drink Grinch punch!
The front porch
We’re fortunate in Florida to be able to spend time outdoors!
We’ll take walks around our neighborhood, to see everyone’s incredible display of lights.
And drive to a nearby town to enjoy their main street all lit up!
We’ll spend one day at Disney World enjoying EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays!
The back porch
Some nights we’ll enjoy sitting in the swing on our back porch!
It’s so peaceful. maybe we’ll sit out here when we read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas!
Guess what?
I just looked at the weather forecast and it’s calling for a high 48/low 30 on Christmas Eve and high 48/low 34 on Christmas day!
Wow! It’s actually going to feel like Christmas weather in Florida!
So we’ll be reading ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas snuggled up inside!
