Six easy steps to create a fall coffee bar
The goal is to create a functional space for your household that looks amazing at the same time! You can set up a Fall coffee bar in no time by doing the following six steps! Have fun!
Find the perfect space
You can set up a coffee bar on the kitchen counter, kitchen island, butler’s pantry, open shelves, or even a cart. Make sure the area provides electricity for your appliances and storage for the items you’ll need.
I chose to use the counter next to my refrigerator. It’s the perfect place because I have cabinets above and below for storage. Easy access to the refrigerator for creamers.
Set up Your coffee maker
The star of the show is, of course, your coffee maker. Plug it in and add other appliances if you have them. For example a coffee grinder or press.
I have a Kuerig that can brew a pot or one cup at a time. It’s so functional and can serve one person or a group of people easily! I also store our smoothie equipment in this area.
Organize the space
You and your family or guests need to have easy access to cups, coffee and/or pods, and tea bags. I store cups in the cabinet above the coffee bar.
Near the coffee pot, I have a canister that holds ground coffee and a cute little creamer I fill up when we have company.
Next to the coffee pot, I have a tiered tray that holds a small container for sugar.
STOCK THE SPACE
Make sure you’re stocked up on your favorite flavored coffee, creamers, and teas.
In the cabinet below the coffee pot, I have an organizer for my coffee pods. Next to it is a tiered organizer that holds my teabags. I like to keep a variety of coffee pods and teas.
I store my creamer in the refrigerator and during fall I love to add seasonal flavors. Can anyone say caramel and pumpkin spice???
Add fall decor
Ok friends, this is my favorite part! I love adding seasonal decor to my home! Nothing is safe from me, not even the coffee bar!
First, decide on a color scheme, You can use traditional fall colors or something out of the ordinary! I decided to change things up a bit in my kitchen this year. I decided to use all things black and white. Several of the pieces in the photo above are going to get a little makeover with black and white paint!
Wow! What a difference a little paint can make!! To see how I made the wood bead garland with ghost tassels, click here!
I also made these Rae Dunn-inspired candles, you can see that DIY here! Do you like the black and white decor??
Add a treat
The coffee bar is finished, but let’s take it over the top, and add a treat to go with your yummy beverages! Cookies, bread, cupcakes, or mini muffins would be amazing! I made chocolate chip muffins!
Now you know how to organize a fabulous Fall coffee bar in six easy steps. So what are you waiting for? Pull out that fall decor and start putting together a festive space in your home! I’m going to make a cup of coffee and add my favorite pumpkin creamer right now (even though it’s 90 degrees today)!
