Hi Friends! I’m taking a break from organizing this week to add some festive touches to my living room decor in preparation for Valentine’s Day. Since this holiday is a celebration of love, I like to commemorate our wedding day by pulling out old photos and adding a few hearts and flowers to spruce up my living room. I try to keep it simple with a few pops of pink and red, nothing too crazy! I hope you like it and that it inspires you to celebrate someone you love and to add some festive touches to your home as well!! I’m excited to share my decor ideas for this Valentine’s season!

Make your mantel the focal point!
I decided on a simple mirror with a gold frame and kept the topiaries I used at Christmas to add symmetry to each end of the mantel. Next, I filled two apothecary jars with paper flowers, hearts, and orbs.
I added a picture from our wedding day with a gold frame. Wow, what a difference 25 years makes, huh??
Next, I placed the unity candle we lit during our ceremony to balance the other side.
To finish it off, I added a simple garland of white hearts!
Add visual appeal with pillows!
I moved the white faux fur pillows that I had on the chairs and put them on the couch. Then I added these fun pink pillows! Also, love the super snuggly blanket for cold winter nights!
I just adore the “love” and “XO” pillows that I placed on the two chairs!
Use flowers to bring in pops of color!
This flower arrangement has great sentimental value to me, as it came from my Grandmother’s funeral. One of the boys gave me the small heart-shaped dish to the right of the flowers. On the left is a small crystal heart (unfortunately, you can’t see it) that says I love you, it was also a gift from one of the boys!
On the bookshelves, I placed this cute rose topiary!
Make a vignette to put on a table!
For this vignette, I used a tray. Then, I added a topiary, crystal heart, and a glass dish with the same flowers and orbs I used on the mantel, to tie it all together. Next, I placed four coasters that spell “love!” Looks cute but very functional too!
The previous vignette I told you about is on a table behind the couch.
Dust off your wedding album!
I put my wedding album on the coffee table for all to see! After all, my parents paid big money for that photographer and all those pictures! This brings back so many great memories of our love!!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
