How are things at your house?
Our week did not go as planned!
Our oldest son and my Dad were planning to stay two weeks with us!
We were so excited about spending so much quality time with them, but unfortunately, our son came down with COVID-19 for the first time!!
So instead of flying here on Tuesday, they arrived yesterday!
Better late than never!
Let the holiday fun begin!!
What we’ve been up to this week
All of our preparation has come to an end and now it’s time to enjoy the holiday with friends and family!
Holiday Gathering
We have a 50+ women’s group in our neighborhood, and I hosted our monthly get-together.
Decorating the Family Tree
When the boys were young, our tradition was to decorate the family Christmas tree on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Our family is spread across the country, and we can’t decorate our tree until everyone arrives in December!
We have so much fun opening a new ornament, and reminiscing about the old ones!
Here’s our family Christmas tree with ornaments we’ve collected over the years!
What we’ve been doing on the blog
Neutral Christmas Decor
We shared our dining room and foyer, dressed up for Christmas in neutral colors!
The room turned out beautifully, and you have to see how I decorated it with thrift finds and handmade items!
