Can you believe this is the last Saturday in October and we’re just a few days away from Halloween?
Time sure does fly when you’re having fun and we had a fabulous week, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised!

This week we had a blast entertaining family!
What we’ve been up to this week
Family visit
My cousin and her hubby came to visit us for the first time since we moved here.
We kept very busy and ate so much yummy food, had fun shopping, walking on nature trails and city streets, and went to a beach one day, and a theme park on another!
They had not seen the Yellowstone prequel 1923, so we binge-watched it in the evenings!
Here we are outside of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
We viewed the animals on the savannah and then ate dinner at one of the restaurants called Boma!
We spent one day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and talked my cousin into riding the Tower of Terror!
She survived and still has a smile on her face after the ride!
It was so good to spend quality time with family!
Pumpkin Glow
Rich and I attended the Pumpkin Glow Jack-o-lantern Trail at the Oakland Nature Preserve!
The trail was lined with pumpkins that people from the community carved and donated!
We were amazed at some of the intricate work on the pumpkins!
What we’ve been doing on the blog
With the family here, we only had time for one post, but it was a goodie!
In fact, we were guests on the Thrifted Goodies Volume 16 post hosted by two of our friends Rachel, from The Antiqued Journey, and MaryJo from Master”pieces” Of My Life.
