This year it’s the dining room!
I shopped my house for pink items and made a couple of DIY decor items to place on the mantel!
I’m so excited to show you my pretty pink dining room!
Come on in!
Easy Valentine’s Table Decor Ideas
My goal was to set a pretty table without spending much money!
I used items I already had and purchased a roll of white tulle!
So simple, but perfect for Valentine’s Day!
Here are my easy ideas to help you create a pretty pink dining table!
Include Pink in Your place setting
I used pink chargers and bowls and placed a white dinner plate in between the two!
Do something unexpected with flowers
Most people choose flowers as their centerpiece, but I did not want to use my soup tureen as a vase, since I plan on serving soup for dinner!
So I elevated the soup tureen on a white cake stand and placed roses underneath it!
A unique and functional centerpiece!
Introduce Ambiance With Candles
We typically have a family dinner at home on Valentine’s Day, but I’ve always tried to make it special by adding candlelight and a small gift for everyone.
I added six brass candlesticks and placed my favorite faux candles inside them!
I purchased these candles before Christmas, and I love them.
You won’t believe how real they look when they’re lit and I have no worries of burning down the house or wax dripping on my tablecloth!
Bring in a Bit of Sparkle
I chose gold eating utensils and gold-rimmed glasses to complete the place-setting.
They look lovely with the candlesticks.
Add Interest with Tulle
Tulle is so fun to decorate with!
I used it as a runner down the center of the table and then tied bows to the candlesticks and around the napkins!
Use Pink Napkins
If you don’t have pink dishes, you can easily add color to your table with napkins!
If you don’t have cloth napkins you can buy pretty paper ones!
Sprinkle Some Hearts on the table
Another way to add color to your table is by sprinkling hearts around the table.
I had these cute pink hearts I made last year, but you can buy or make heart confetti out of colored paper.
Add Valentine Touches to Your Dining Room
Hang a Wreath
I hung a DIY yarn heart wreath on my china cabinet to add another pop of pink to the dining room!
Embellish a bar cart
Look at the pretty swan I bought while thrift shopping!
I placed some ivory wood flowers and a pink heart inside it!
Decorate the Mantel
I did not want to take attention away from my pretty pink table, so I decorated the mantel with neutral colors!
I made the adorable pom pom garland, grapevine wreath, and set of standing hearts!
Get Cozy with Pink Pillows
I added one last touch of pink by placing these cozy pillows on the chairs!
Enjoy your Valentine’s Table Decor

I love this, Donna!! The light pink paired with the neutral tones is SO pretty! What a great idea to use tulle, as well!! Also, I love those twisty candles. I’m going to look for those!
Donna Allen says
Hi Rachel! I’m loving the touches of soft pink as well! You have to get some of those candles! They are so pretty and look so real when they’re lit! Thanks and have a great day!
Cara says
The candles look great Donna, the touches of pink throughout your decor are picture perfect. I am becoming a big fan of the battery-operated taper candles, I picked some up in the fall, and they are perfect when burning candles in the house is no longer an option. Your table setting will be perfect for Valentine’s Day, hope you and hubby enjoy the evening.
