I can’t believe half of the year is gone, and it’s time to celebrate the independence of our great nation!
We feel so blessed and fortunate to live in such a wonderful place!
Our neighborhood comes alive with fireworks on this happy day!
We’ll be pulling out our lawn chairs and setting up in the front yard!
Our neighbors across the street put on a fabulous fireworks show!
I wanted to do something special for their family to say thank you!
So I put together a tray of goodies for them to enjoy!
I also made a tray for us to enjoy during the show!
Let me show you how easy and quick making a festive tray can be!
Gather items for the gift tray
I went on a little shopping spree at Walmart and searched the store for red, white, and blue items!
Here are some of the fun things I found!
- Paper trays
- Glow bracelets
- Sparklers- at a tent in the Walmart parking lot
- Popcorn
- Cracker Jacks
- Candy
- Cookies
fill the gift tray
Grab your tray, and let’s fill it up!
Can you get over how cute these paper trays are?
They are perfect for gift-giving!
Arrange baked goods
Look at the cute, patriotic baked goods I found to add to the tray!!
add some sweet treats
I found several yummy treats packaged in red, white, and blue!
Who can resist popcorn, Snickers, and Cracker Jacks!
Help light up the night
For some extra fun, I’m adding sparklers and glow bracelets!
Make sure you are adding age-appropriate items to your gift tray!
Remember, children need adult supervision while playing with sparklers!
Be very careful with sparklers if the grass is dry! You do not want to start a fire!
Enjoy the holiday
I’m curious to know what your plans are for the day?
Would you like to make a bang and surprise someone with a 4th of July gift tray?
I’m counting the hours until it gets dark and we can enjoy ours!
Here’s wishing you the most amazing 4th of July ever!
