our week in review
The week went by so fast, probably because we were on a mini-vacation!
When Rich and I got married, we honeymooned at Disney World!
Over a year ago, we planned a camping trip to Disney’s Fort Wilderness to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary in November!
When we found out my best friend’s daughter was getting married on our anniversary, we moved our camping trip up a month so we could be at the wedding!
Forward to the present time, and Hurricane Ian happened! We were supposed to arrive at the campground on Saturday, October 1st.
Disney called us the night before and said the campground would be closed during our trip and asked if would we like to stay in a hotel instead!
We took them up on their offer and spent four nights at Coronado Springs Resort.
It was so nice to get away, sleep in, eat amazing food, leisurely walk around the parks and relax!
We’re so thankful to have come through the storm with minimal issues and were still able to celebrate our special event.
Please join us, by continuing to pray and support those who lost their homes or had damage caused by this terrible storm!
What we’ve been up to on the blog
We got started on our Fall Home Organization goals to get our house ready for holiday visitors!
First on our list is the entryway!
We shared our best ideas to create an organized entryway to welcome family and friends!
Next, we turned our attention to decorating the foyer for Halloween!
No need to spend a lot on holiday decor with this easy Dollar Tree DIY project!
I created this hauntingly beautiful black wreath to sit above my spooky apothecary!
