Summer is flying by so fast!
I don’t want time to speed up, but I’m looking forward to August because two of my besties are coming for a visit!
I can’t wait for them to get here in a few days!

What we’ve been up to this week
Date mornings
We’ve been enjoying date mornings instead of date nights since it’s so hot here in Florida!
Last weekend we enjoyed a stroll through our local Farmer’s Market and stopped in a few shops and one thrift store.
Then, we ate a yummy breakfast at a quaint restaurant called Cheeser’s Palace Cafe.
The food was great, our server was fabulous, and they have several gluten-free options!
One of our sons has celiac disease, so we’re always looking for restaurants where he can eat!
Taking care of our sweet dog
We had a bit of a scare this week!
Our sweet dog Gracey took a tumble off of our couch and strained her neck!
She is sixteen and does not have the best balance anymore.
After a vet visit, anti-inflammatories, and pain meds, I’m happy to report she’s doing much better now!

First up, we shared our latest home decor treasures we thrifted.
The two apothecary jars on the left were a great find!

I am so glad Gracey is doing better. It is so nerve-racking when something happens to our pups. I bet you are like us, their are our kids. I wish I could visit some of the places you go, I love yard sales and thrifting, but we do not have much in my area. Sorry to hear the link party is ending. I understand how much work it is, a lot goes into them that I do not think most folks are aware of. I know I was unprepared for it myself lol. Can’t wait to see what you do you next.
