Are you finished decorating and shopping, or have you even started?
No matter where you are, we hope you enjoy the journey.
We are busy preparing for the festivities and attempting to have fun between all the work!
What We’ve Been Up to This Week
Decorating Gingerbread houses
The Sunday after Thanksgiving, the boys and I decorated gingerbread houses.
Usually, we do this the week before Christmas with all three of our boys.
Unfortunately, our oldest son was diagnosed with celiac disease and cannot ingest or touch gluten.
Since gingerbread has gluten in it, he does not want to decorate houses this year.
So we switched up our tradition and decided to decorate them on Thanksgiving weekend instead.
The bonus is that we can enjoy them as Christmas decor the whole season.
We will share the finished gingerbread houses with you when we post our kitchen Christmas decor!
Christmas Tree Stroll and Shopping
The boys wanted to go Christmas shopping over Thanksgiving weekend, so we headed to Disney Springs, one of our favorite places.
Besides shopping, we were able to do the Christmas tree stroll.
We enjoyed seeing lots of Christmas trees decorated with Disney themes.
This tree is themed from the movie Coco.
Thrifting Finds
I hit a thrift store on Thursday and scored several great finds!
I will use most of these items in my Christmas decor, except the candlestick and the birdhouse in the front.
Those I will save for a springtime DIY!

A New Recipe to Try
Our boys love to make and decorate sugar cookies, so I need a gluten-free/dairy-free recipe.
I will try this one because it’s gluten-free, and I think I can modify it to be dairy-free.
