Well, dear friends, Fall will officially be here tomorrow, and guess what!
The forecast shows high temps in the 80s every day!

Thank goodness there’s not one 90-degree day in sight!
We are so relieved and can’t wait for cooler weather!
Does it feel like Fall where you live?
What we’ve been up to this week
Halloween Party
We celebrated the beginning of Fall by going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP)!
It was 90 degrees and humid when we arrived around 5 p.m.
When we got inside Magic Kingdom, we splurged by having dessert before dinner!
We shared this adorable Minnie-shaped pumpkin cheesecake with pumpkin coffee mousse and topped with a white chocolate candy corn bow.
It was fabulous!
Then, we rode a few rides, and at 7 p.m., we went to the Pecos Bills Cafe to try some specialty foods (you can only get during the party) for dinner.
Rich had the Cajun Burger that consisted of a cajun-spiced beef patty topped with fried green tomato, Cajun Andouille dip, and Creole remoulade served on a black bun.
He said it was delicious!
I had the bone-in piggy wings fried with fresh jalapeños tossed in Coca-Cola Cherry barbecue sauce.
Even though they left off the jalapenos, they were a bit spicy for me.
I would not get them again.
We shared the loaded sweet potato fries tossed in cinnamon sugar and topped with marshmallow cream, butterscotch chips, and toffee pieces.
It was very yummy but super sweet!
When we left the restaurant, it was raining.
So we pulled out our ponchos and hit the treat trails to collect Halloween candy!
Thank goodness the rain finally stopped, so we went to Main Street to watch the fireworks!
The projections they put on the castle are incredible!
Add fireworks, and you have a beautiful spectacle!
We had a run-in with the headless horseman!
He almost scared us to death, lol!!
We’re joking! This is a Disney photo op! Usually, the headless horseman leads the parade, but since it had been raining and the roads were wet, he did not appear.
Next, we located a spot to sit down for the parade.
Magic Kingdom has many great parades, but this one is our favorite!
We ended the night with the Hocus Pocus stage show (sorry, the picture is so blurry)!
They did a fabulous job casting the Sanderson Sisters!
Even though it rained at the beginning of the party, we had a blast!
It’s so fun to go to Disney to escape the craziness of everyday life!
Now I’m in the mood to start thinking about Halloween decor!
