There’s just something about fall decor that exudes a comfy feel that I enjoy!
Some people think it’s unnecessary to add seasonal decor to the kitchen.
I don’t happen to agree with them.
We have an open-concept kitchen and living room, so I like to decorate both areas!
The key is to add decor but not clutter so your kitchen remains functional!
9 Fall Kitchen Decor Ideas
Whether you like neutral decor or the bright colors of fall foliage, you can easily duplicate these ideas!
Display a centerpiece
Make or purchase a centerpiece to display on your island or kitchen table.
I made this arrangement using a thrifted vase and fall foilage stems I have collected through the years.
The faux stems came from Hobby Lobby and I’m pretty sure they are carrying them again this year!
Make a vignette that incorporates cooking utensils
Put your cooking utensils in a pretty container and set two decorative items of varying heights next to it!
Tuck Decor next to functional items
Do you have a boring knife block on your counter like I do?
If so, tuck in two decor pieces beside it to add Autumn interest!

Hang a wreath
A wreath is a simple way to add festive flair to any area!
Hang one behind your stove, on a cabinet, or the back of kitchen stools or chairs.
Show off items you use daily
Use a stand to show off your favorite cookbook.
Display the fruit you buy each week in a pretty bowl.
Keep spices and oils Handy
If you cook regularly, I highly recommend getting pretty containers to hold spices, oil, and vinegar to sit next to the stove.
Don’t forget a Pumpkin
Nothing says Autumn more than a pretty pumpkin!
Grab a tray and fill it with pumpkins, apples, or a combination of both!
Use real pumpkins or faux, whatever you prefer!
Set up a beverage Station
What is your preferred drink during the fall?
Decorate a tiered tray to celebrate your love of apple cider, hot chocolate, or coffee!
